# Property Claims Inspection Scheduling

After a property claim is triaged to a Property Adjuster, the adjuster first contacts the policyholder to schedule an on-site inspection, then confirms the appointment in the Claims Management System.

Once the inspection is complete, the Property Adjuster documents damage and uploads photos, then submits a repair estimate for approval.

Policy requires inspections to be scheduled within 5 business days of claim assignment. During catastrophe events, this requirement is suspended under the Catastrophe Response Protocol, and inspections are instead prioritized by severity.

Claims involving suspected structural damage are always escalated to a Senior Adjuster, regardless of dollar amount, per the Structural Damage Policy.
